I had so many that stopped me, or I laughed out loud, or I teared up, or I had to stop and reflect for a moment... that's how good it is. It kinda gets you. Right. There. You know?! Let's just say he had me at the preface. There was one about his dad, one about being in love, the one with Eminem's lyrics, and the imagery of the river's connectedness really spoke to me. But now that I say all those, I loved the ones about searching for yourself and just being. In fact, most pages I felt something a little different. He's very good at reaching the emotion in others. Painting the picture or helping you connect to a moment you felt that SAME way. And I love it when he says 'you either get it or you don't.' I feel sad for those who don't. I don't think I could pick one. I'm fairly certain if I were to read it when I'm in a melancholy mood I'd have new favourites.
