Whatever it comes across  

It is not long before the pain is forgotten

The hardship softened 

The anger and struggle replaced by a strength 

far greater than one once knew

The closed door reframed into a portal

Of possibility and freedom previously unfounded 

The child saw the obstacle as an opportunity in and of itself.
